Privacy Policy

Disclaimer, Policies and what you need to know as a first time client:
Cleanse Chicago nor our Associates do not, is not, and will not prescribe (order for use as medicine) for you at any time. The therapist is simply helping you with natural hygiene at your request, and is not diagnosing nor treating disease, nor practicing, nor prescribing any form of medicine.

Colon cleansing has not been clinically tested to provide ANY Medical Benefits. This facility does not claim that colon cleansing will cure or treat any condition or disease. This procedure is used solely for the purpose of evacuating the lower bowel. Colonic irrigation is only for the removal of waste from the colon and has no scientifically proven medical benefits. Claims of colon perforation, injury, illness, and death have been associated with the use of colon irrigation/enema devices.

If you are currently taking medication for any condition, prescription or not, you may want to check with your doctor before using any colon cleansing service. If you have ever been diagnosed with any intestinal condition or have taken any medication that can weaken the intestinal walls you should check with your Primary Health Care Provider before colon cleansing. If you are not sure of the side effects of the drugs you are using, you can check on the Internet or with your local pharmacist or Doctor.

IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT WHETHER YOU SHOULD RECEIVE COLONICS, YOU SHOULD CONSULT YOUR PRIMARY HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL OR PHYSICIAN.

When a new client makes their initial appointment, we authorize a valid credit card to hold the appointment time. The authorization is a verification there are funds in the account, in the event that the client fails to show up for their initial appointment. The verified funds will then be post-authorized and the charge will be completed. An authorization of a debit card freezes the funds in your account. Due to the lack of access to these funds, we suggest you use a credit card instead of a debit card. Once an authorization has been processed, it cannot be reversed. The funds are held at the discretion of your bank. The authorization can be held from two to four weeks depending on your banking institution.

Your health history is confidential. We generally call to confirm your appointments two to three days in advance to give you an opportunity to cancel before the 48-hour period. Please give us a phone number where it is appropriate for us to leave a message for you. If for any reason, you do not receive a confirmation call, you are still responsible for the appointment you made. Our confirmation call to you is meant as a courtesy call only.

Cleanse Chicago Payment Agreement and Schedule:

Payment is expected at time of service. Appointments not cancelled at least 48-hours prior to scheduled time will be automatically charged to your credit card and/or subtracted from your “Package of Sessions” series if you choose to purchase a package.

We cannot proceed with your colonic treatment if you are more than 15 minutes late, and you are financially responsible for that “missed” appointment.

We ask our clients to honor our therapist’s time and not dispute our cancellation policy. If your schedule is unreliable and you know there is a possibility of you not keeping an appointment with us, please do not make the appointment. We suggest you call us for last minute availability to avoid being charged for a missed appointment.

All Colonic Packages expire 3-months from your last appointment. Package refunds are available within 30 days minus a  $25.00 processing fee. Package refunds will not be given after 30 days from date of purchase.

Once your file has been put on inactive status, you will need to fill out your forms as if you were a new client if you wish to continue treatments. To avoid inactive status, try not to allow more than a (season/3 months) go by in-between colonic sessions. If you are not able to come in during that time period, call our office and ask to remain in “active status.”
